About
MISSION
The Oregon College Access Network (OrCAN) exists to help Oregonians overcome barriers to education and training beyond high school. We do this by being the statewide hub for data and information; connecting people and organizations; sharing knowledge and resources; providing professional development and networking opportunities; and educating key leaders and policy makers about supporting preparation and persistence beyond high school.
CORE VALUES
Collaboration: Network members work together to increase post-secondary participation and persistence. We achieve more by sharing our knowledge and resources.
Sustainability: We sponsor professional mentorship to create successful access programs, share insight, build relationships, and promote growth.
Excellence: The network encourages and provides for the use of emerging best practices in program administration and evaluation.
VISION
OrCAN will function as the state-wide hub for education data and information;
Connect people and organizations;
Share knowledge and resources;
Provide Professional development; and
Educate key leaders and policy makers about supporting access to education beyond high school.
